Impact Factor (Copyright Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports)
Ranked 22nd out of 114 AI journals by SciMago (May 2013) - see here.
Also see here for IEEE report on appropriate use of bibliometrics.TCIAIG was first published in 2009, and therefore had its first 2-year impact factor for 2011 (which was published mid 2012).
2-year impact factors are based on the average number of citations to articles published in TCIAIG in the previous two years (e.g. 2009,2010) from indexed papers published in the current year (e.g. 2011). Note that Thomson-Reuters do not index all conferences and journals (they miss out some key conferences in AI and Games), and so give a much lower impact factor than if you calculate this using Google Scholar.
The journal operates a thorough and efficient review and publication process.
Average time to first decision: 65 days. (12 month average as of July 2012).
